Percussion Ensemble
The percussion ensemble is a group accessible to students taking individual percussion lessons after a minimum of 2 years of practice. Its aim is to bring students together around percussion instruments (keyboards, timpani, drums, congas, etc.) to perform works of different styles. The richness of percussion instruments allows for the transcription of very accessible and varied pieces (jazz, pop, Latin, etc.) with the aim of performing publicly. During the course, students will perform with both skin instruments (drums, timpani, snare drum, etc.) and keyboard instruments (xylophone, marimba, vibraphone, etc.).
This course is part of the standard curriculum (music theory, instrument, and ensemble): CHF 970 per year (2 x CHF 485). Second child: CHF 776 per year (20% discount); third child and subsequent children: CHF 582 per year (40% discount). Provision and maintenance of the instrument: annual flat rate of CHF 120 (no discount). Xylophone: one-off payment of CHF 75 when the instrument is handed over. Administration fee of CHF 50, included in the tuition fee and non-refundable. A 10% surcharge on tuition fees for students residing outside the canton. Tuition fees are due for the entire academic year; invoicing in two instalments, at the end of November and the end of February.
