This stage marks a turning point in music theory learning. The concepts acquired in previous years become musical material that students appropriate, manipulate and reinvent. Instrument improvisation, writing, analysis of classical and contemporary works: students develop increasingly independent musical expression, enriched by new elements: uneven time and measures, incursions into harmony.
