Group Musical Initiation
To acquire the necessary foundations for starting to learn an instrument, there is nothing quite like adapting Kodály's pedagogy. Through a rich and varied repertoire of rhymes, games and songs, children understand basic concepts: pulse, varied rhythmic formulas and solmisation are approached in a fun way, thus preparing students to pursue more academic music theory by beginning their basic training.
Music Initiation I – 45 min per week (in small groups): 660 CHF per year. Music Initiation II – 45 min per week (in small groups): 660 CHF per year. Studio Kodály, being accredited by the State of Geneva, is required to apply a 10% surcharge on tuition fees for pupils residing outside the canton of Geneva. The school year comprises 10 months. Tuition fees are paid quarterly and in advance. A 10% reduction on tuition fees is granted to families from the second child onwards. If your family group’s gross income allows, an exemption of up to 90% may be granted.
