Composed by Vladimir Cosma for the OSR 20 years ago, this entertainment for narrator and symphony orchestra illustrates some of Jean de La Fontaine’s most famous Fables with a series of dances. We are delighted to find them on the program this season, conducted by Philippe Béran. The OSR musicians will share the stage with the young people from the Orchestre du Collège de Genève, and Joan Mompart’s voice will bring out all the vivacity, mischief, and modernity of these timeless stories.
