Rhythmic-Solfège 4 and 5 Instrumental RSI-4 – Plan-les-Ouates (Le Sapay)
Rhythmic-solfège classes are group-based and rely on improvised music – piano, voice, percussion – that the teacher custom-creates for each teaching situation. This lively and inventive framework places listening and responsiveness at the heart of learning. Beyond solfège, particular attention is paid to group instrumental practice: discovering repertoire scores, learning improvisation, and the joy of playing together. The teacher develops arrangements specially designed to connect the solfège work to the class orchestra's playing. Throughout their journey, students participate in the school's performances and shows, highlights that give meaning to the work accomplished and are part of the very identity of the ijd.
