Programming Card with Minecraft
The Python language is often recommended for beginners in computer programming. Paradoxically, it is also widely used by experts, whether for web development or in the field of artificial intelligence. By allowing students to code scripts that will be directly executed in their favourite game, this course will offer them a simple and fun introduction to the fundamentals of programming. They will start by learning the basics of the Python language and its syntax by completing small projects, before moving on to Minecraft. They will then be able to generate impressive actions in their games: run on an auto-generated TNT path using loops, use random numbers to play hide-and-seek, create sandstorms using functions and variables, etc. No prerequisites are necessary, but you must be willing to type on a keyboard.
Price: 325 CHF per term (10 lessons of 1.5 hours). A reduction of 190 to 225 CHF is applied for annual enrolment (only possible during the 1st term). Discount for low-income families and CarteCulture.
