Programming Card with Minecraft
Make it rain chickens, unleash lava torrents, or conjure a 1000 TNT cube in the blink of an eye? Minecraft like you've never known it, is possible thanks to the super powers of code! In their favourite environment, students will discover the power of computer programming. By coding the interactions they want, infinite possibilities will open up to them... This course will start with an introduction to programming through the code.org platform. The kids will then take control of Minecraft and the MakeCode environment, which allows them to program the different elements of the game using essential concepts such as loops, conditions, and variables. Gradually, students will design increasingly complex scripts. Must be able to read. Must be able to use a mouse: right-click, left-click, double-click.
Price: 325 CHF per term (10 lessons of 1.5 hours). A reduction of 190 to 225 CHF is applied for annual enrolment (only possible during the 1st term). Discount for low-income families and CarteCulture.
