How to create a duel in a saloon when you have neither glasses to break nor pistols to shoot with? poneyXpress, created in 2025, was born from the desire to play with the western, a cinematographic genre that seems both very close to us, with John Wayne, Clint Eastwood or Lucky Luke, and at the same time infinitely far, both by the difference in social and geographical context and by the outdated values of its characters. The COWPERSONS collective starts from the idea that the western has always been a myth shaped to represent a certain idea of the United States, a myth in which man kills as he breathes, always for honor and for justice... poneyXpress seeks to reconstruct it differently: by replacing horses with "hobby-horses," muscles with foam, and hats with cardboard.
