Learn to code with Minecraft : Surprise Party
Make it rain chickens, launch lava torrents or even summon a 1000 TNT cube in the blink of an eye? Minecraft as you've never known it, it's possible thanks to the super powers of code! In their favourite environment, students will discover the power of computer programming. By coding the interactions they want, infinite possibilities will open up to them... This workshop will start with an introduction to programming through the code.org platform. Kids will then take control of Minecraft and the MakeCode environment, which allows them to programme the different elements of the game using essential concepts such as loops, conditions and variables. Must be able to read. Must be able to use a mouse: right click, left click, double-click.
Price: 380 CHF per week. For an additional fee, your child can be looked after at lunchtime between the morning and afternoon workshops. A picnic must be provided at your own expense. 50 CHF discount for students who stay all day = a morning workshop and an afternoon workshop in addition to staying at lunchtime.
