In this course, students discover jazz notation, the construction and figuring of four-part chords, as well as major II-V-I cadences. The course also covers basic scales and modes, essential for improvisation. By taking this course, you will acquire the necessary tools to navigate the world of jazz, with a solid understanding of theoretical foundations.
