The apparatus includes 4 pieces of equipment: the trampoline, the floor, the rings, and the horizontal bars. The gymnastics level is "evaluated" through a category progression from 1 to 7. Gymnasts participate in at least one competition per year. During the category progression, gymnasts perform a sequence of compulsory and optional movements on each apparatus.
