English 5P/6P
English course for 5P and 6P children, designed as a progressive programme over two school years. The course allows children to consolidate their basic knowledge and to progressively develop their oral comprehension and expression. They enrich their vocabulary and learn to use common expressions and structures to communicate in simple everyday situations. The approach remains fun and interactive, with games, songs, stories, pair activities, role-playing and varied educational resources, in order to encourage children to use English naturally and to gain confidence in speaking. The two-year progression allows students to consolidate their knowledge, enrich their vocabulary and progressively develop more complex structures, without repeating the same programme from one year to the next. Prerequisites: Have some basic knowledge of English. The course is suitable for children who have already been introduced to English, even with limited practice. Target audience: 5P and 6P children (8–9 years old) Materials to bring each week: Children must bring: • coloured pencils; • a pencil and an eraser; • felt-tip pens; • glue and scissors; • a rigid A4 folder; • the textbook used during the course.
