Contamines - School swimming pool
Information about the courses Buoyancy (4 to 12 months, 15-minute course): Through various buoyancy exercises, we teach babies to float by themselves and to turn onto their back on their own. The goal is that if a baby falls into the water, they can get onto their back and float. The final exercise of this learning process is to be able to float with a diaper and clothes. Motor Skills (1 to 3-4 years, 15-minute course): Through various exercises that include swimming equipment, we teach small children who can already float and turn onto their backs to use their legs and arms to move and thus reach the edge of the pool by themselves. For children who cannot yet float, we teach them to float and move independently. We also gently start putting their heads in the water. Swimming (from 3-4 years, 20-minute course): the child begins to learn the basics of swimming (backstroke and front crawl) through various exercises and water equipment. They also learn to jump into the pool, put their head in the water, and retrieve objects from the bottom of the water.
