Beginner Jazz course for saxophonists, clarinetists and flautists
Jazz initiation for saxophonists, clarinettists and flautists offers a progressive discovery of jazz codes, including phrasing, harmonies and specific rhythms. Students explore various styles through arrangements, learning to interpret and improvise on jazz pieces. The course promotes a playful approach, encouraging personal expression without exclusive dependence on the score. Musicians are encouraged to develop their own sound and to improvise, while integrating the fundamental elements of this music. An environment of sharing and creativity guides each session.
